Marie-Christine Lochot is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCTMB) as well as in Sports Massage. She opened her successful private practice in Montclair, NJ in 1994. Since that time she has helped hundreds of clients.
Ms Lochot began working with people affected by cancer in 1994 starting with a dear friend suffering from colon cancer. She pursued advanced training in that field and is certified in Mastectomy & Breast surgery and Oncology massage.
Marie-Christine has provided sports massage to athletes at the New York City Marathon, Special Olympics, NJ Nets training camp, and other local events.
She has additional certifications in the following areas:
- Clinical Sports Massage
- Trigger Point Therapy
- Active and Assisted Stretching ( Aaron Mattes)
- Functional Assessment for Orthopedic Massage
- Basic Jin Shin Do
- Massage for survivors of abuse and Trauma
In 2002 Marie-Christine began studying Energy Medicine with Donna Eden, renowned healer, later becoming one of her teaching assistants. She gives Energy Medicine workshops and practices as an Energy Medicine practitioner.
She is certified in First Aid and CPR and was a leader of an Emergency Trauma Ambulance Unit in Paris from 1979 to 1988.
Marie-Christine holds a Master of Economics from Paris University.
